A 13 year old on what education should look like
My biggest take away from this TEDX talk was the young mans obvious passion for skiing. He clearly has a zest for life which is absolutely tied to his passion.
The challenge for many teenagers who are struggling academically and more broadly is the fact they lack a passion, or even an interest.
We need to ensure all our young students have the opportunity to try as many diverse activities as possible so that something eventually resonates with them and it can become their "thing". Having an interest can drive everything else.
